Clean Up Days

July 13 - Ward III (15th Ave. South to City Limits) July 14 - Ward II (18th Ave. South to 15th Ave.) July 15 - Ward I (24th Ave. South to 18th Ave.)
All discarded materials must be out by 7:30 a.m.
NO pick up will be made in the alleys.
City will NOT pick up: tires, batteries, fuel tanks, paper, garbage, clothing, cardboard, white goods, air conditioners, plastic yard or garden waste, vacuum cleaners, microwaves, furnaces, BBQ grills
A full list of acceptable items is available a the Tyndall Finance Office, 110 E. 17th Ave.

4H Chicken BBQ Fundraiser Canceled for 2020

Due to Avera projections of a CoVid peak in mid-June to early July as well as concerns of the public and business owners, the annual 4H Chicken BBQ Fundraiser sponsored by the Tyndall Chamber of Commerce has been canceled for 2020. A monetary donation will be given by the Chamber to the 4H to continue to share in the support of our local 4H while their ability to fund-raise is effected. 

Bon Homme County 4H Achievement Days are still on at this time, but a final decision will be made at a later date.

Chamber Sponsored Window Decorating Contest!

In light of so many local events being canceled in our area, the Tyndall Chamber of Commerce wishes to boost the morale and atmosphere of the community by sponsoring a window decorating contest!

Who Can Participate: open to all Bon Homme County residents & businesses
How to Enter: decorate your window in a school theme showing your support/interest in graduation, prom, etc, then snap a picture of your window and message it on Facebook to either Tyndall Chamber of Commerce or Cheyenne Schenkel, please include your mailing address so we know where to mail prizes, and the window with the most votes cast on Facebook wins!
Deadline to Enter: June 20 (voting commences via Facebook from June 21-27, ending at 10pm CST on June 27)
Prizes: 1st Place - $75 Chamber Bucks
2nd Place - $50 Chamber Bucks
3rd Place - $25 Chamber Bucks

City of Tyndall Pool Set to Open

The City of Tyndall's pool, the R.F. Memorial Pool, is set to open on May 22, 2020 (weather permitting). In light of the financial struggles of CoVid-19, it has been decided that admission to the pool will be free for the 2020 season.

CoVid-19 Encouragement Parade by BH County Law Enforcement & BH School District

"To find a positive during this time of corona virus isolation... Bon Homme County Law Enforcement, each community and the Bon Homme School District will be holding a vehicle parade in Tabor, Springfield, and Tyndall.

Staff of Bon Homme Schools will follow law enforcement around the town in their vehicles to celebrate the students, parents, and families of each community.

The parades will start at 6:00pm and all families that live in each town and the rural areas are encouraged to participate in these events by standing in their yards, curbs, or Main Street and wave as the parade passes by.

BHHS Prom & Graduation RESCHEDULED

According to Bon Homme School District board meeting notes from the Monday, April 13, 2020 meeting, Bon Homme High School prom and graduation have been rescheduled to the following dates:
Prom June 20 or July 18
Graduation June 27 or July 25
Dates are dependent on when the CoVid-19 pandemic restrictions are lifted.
